About the Foundation
The Greenbrier 4-H Foundation was established in 2007 to provide financial support for 4-H programs for Greenbrier County youth. It is managed by a volunteer board of directors with years of experience with 4-H and a love for the organization.
Jimmy Johnson
James E. Johnson, a former WVU Extension Agent in Greenbrier County loved and supported the 4-H program by generously leaving a legacy gift of $25,000 to the Greenbrier County 4-H Foundation.
To honor Jimmy and his generosity, the Board of Directors has established an annual full scholarship for the Spirit of Camp at each county camp to attend camps at Jackson's Mill near Weston.
